1) Which European island is not a member of the EU?

 Iceland.

2) Which Scandinavian country is not a member of the EU?

 Norway

3) Which Alpine country is not a member of the EU? 

Switzerland.

 

 We're going to continue talking about the European Union, in this case about its history.

Interesting, right? Now go to page 76-77 in our Social Science book. 

1) Read the texts carefully.

2) Use the dictionary to look for the vocabulary you don't understand and make a list in you notebook. 

3) Identify the information that you found in the video and in your book. 

When you finish, do exercise 4 (p.77) in your notebook.

Today I want to ask you to prepare a small project. It is a voluntary task, but I recommend you to do it, it will be very useful!

1- Choose a country from the European Union. 

2- Look for information about it using books, the Internet or asking your family. 

3- Write all the information that you have gathered in a paper (DIN-A4).
